Sinn Féin are fighting to stop downgrading of Wexford General Hospital
Join the fight and secure a hospital for your family and community
Wexford Sinn Féin have been running a campaign to highlight the problems at Wexford General Hospital for nearly ten years. In this time, we have organised protests, delivered petitions to leinster house and helped the independent "save our A&E" campaign. We have also been voicing opposition to the planned removal of Wexfords full time psychiatric unit at St. Senans.
Wexford hospital is now being downgraded through a series of stealth moves by the HSE. The HSE are moving ahead with their plan to move our psychiatric unit to Waterford. These moves will cost lives!
We will continue to fight for retention of health services, and continue to highlight the HSE's mismanagement of Wexfords health service.
